Growing up, Naomi Rowell-Andrews, one of the owners of Blk Coffee Beauty, vividly remembers waking up on Sunday mornings to her mother and father preparing each of her siblings for "Sunday Hair Day." On this special day, they would wash, style, and occasionally treat their hair with hot oil and other treatments each week. To this day, she can vividly recall the soothing scent of peppermint essential oil and shampoo wafting through her childhood home.

    Her mother was always researching and creating new and innovative hair oils that would make each "Sunday Hair Day" more exciting and fun for her children. Alongside her husband, who would assist with washing, moisturizing, braiding, or plaiting the young girls' hair, "Sunday Hair Day" wasn't just any ordinary hair-day; it was a family day filled with love and togetherness.
